AMP, a wholly owned corporation, is a non-profit agency operating a USDA approved (PL No. 47-011-02) facility for the production of manufactured goods sold to the feeding programs of the US Government and prviate industry. AMP utilizes the manufacture of food items to create opportunities for the development of work skills which transfer to local industry, and provides the following vocational services:
The mission of the Quality Assurance program is to insure that quality products are produced by our production program which meet or exceed our customer's expectations. The QA program at AMP meets the requirements of the USDA's Total Quality Systems Audit (TQSA) program, and is working toward registration in ISO-9002 requirements. Staff in this program are responsible for assuring organizational compliance with all regulatory agencies.
