Who We Are
AMP has a total of 95 employees; 43 being disabled. As a member of NISH (National Institute for the Severely Handicapped) we maintain a 75% disabled ratio within our direct labor forces. Our disabled workers make boxes, wipe cans, pack boxes, label boxes and are very willing to do any job asked of them. When/If things are slow, you will find them sweeping floors, cleaning windows, pulling weeds, and picking up trash.
Our employees have been with us as little as one month, to those that have been here as long as ARC/AMP has been around-16 years! Our disabled employees are extremely proud of their jobs and work very hard. Our non-disabled employees are humbled by their co-workers. Working along-side disabled workers gives a new perspective on responsibility, commitment, dedication and hard work. We maintain long term employment with our employees because of these things.
We’ve focused on raising standards and benchmarks and making sure employees have access to the resources they need to succeed. This record of transformation, our diverse work culture, and our employees outstanding results on every measure of achievement gives our organization a strong foundation. We have crafted a bold and achievable plan that builds on our accomplishments and expands initiatives already making a difference.
